Easy Black Beans and Rice

What is in it?

Olive Oil

Large onion : chopped finely

Red Pepper : diced

Cloves garlic : minced
 
3/4 cup
White Rice : uncooked
 
1 1/2 cups
Vegetable Broth
 
1 tsp
Cumin : ground
 
1 tsp
Curry Powder
 
1/2 tsp
Cayenne pepper
 
4 cups
Black Beans : drained

What needs be done?

In a stockpot over medium-high heat, heat the oil.
Add the onion,pepper and garlic and saute for 4 minutes.
Add the rice and saute for 2 minutes.
Add the vegetable broth, bring to a boil, cover and lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes.
Add the spices and black beans.
